How to apply?
The academic handbook including the application form is available on payment of Rs 400/- in cash at JBSMS. It can also be obtained through post/ courier by sending a demand draft of Rs 400/- drawn in favor of Jai Bharath Arts & Science College, payable at Perumbavoor, Ernakulam. The duly filled application form is to be submitted on or before the prescribed time and date. Candidates appearing for the final year degree examinations of any University recognized by Mahatma Gandhi University can also submit their application. However, the selection and admission will be subject to the conditions mentioned below. Such candidates, if selected shall produce their mark list at the time of admission.
Candidate selection
Admission to MBA shall be based on the score secured by the candidates in the Management Aptitude Test (MAT) conducted by All India Management Association (AIMA), New Delhi and the marks scored in group discussion and personal interview conducted by JBSMS. The All India Management Association conducts the MAT four times in a year. The admissions both under merit quota and management quota shall be strictly on merit basis. The rank list for management seats and merit quota will be published separately and candidates selected/waitlisted for the admission will be intimated. The selected candidates will be admitted on the remittance of fees in full as per the academic calendar of the Mahatma Gandhi University, Kottayam. The fees of the discontinuing students will not be refunded on any account.

MBA Admissions
The minimum mark for admission to MBA courses is a pass in any bachelor's degree examination with not less than 50 % of marks in the aggregate ( i.e... All parts of the examinations) for Arts, Commerce and BBA degrees and 55% marks in the aggregate for all other degree examinations or 50% in the aggregate for Masters Degree examinations.
MHRM Admissions
The minimum mark for admission to MHRM courses is a pass in any bachelor's degree examination with not less than 50 % of marks in the aggregate ( i.e.. All parts of the examinations) for Arts, Commerce and BBA degrees and 55% marks in the aggregate for all other degree examinations or 50% in the aggregate for Masters Degree examinations. The qualifying degree shall be recognized by the M.G.University.
MSW Admissions
The candidates seeking admission MSW course shall be required to possess either a Bachelors degree from the M.G.University or a degree recognized as equivalent thereto with a minimum of 55% marks for part III % I in aggregate for B.Sc and B.com graduate and 50% marks for B.A and LLB graduate.
Fee structure
The tuition fee is strict as per the rules applicable from time to time. However, for additional student amenities, they may have to pay nominal charges voluntarily. University Examination fees, cost of industrial visits and study tours, course materials, laptop computers, academic projects, executive dress, uniform, hostel charges, placement charges, etc. will be charged extra. The candidates availing bank loan are advised to collect necessary details with regard to the fee structure from JBSMS..
