While taking admission in the management quota, students should ensure their confirmation on continuing in the same.

1.3 Admission Procedure

The admission procedures of Jai Bharath Arts and Science College are structured to ensure transparency, fairness, and adherence to the norms prescribed by Mahatma Gandhi University and the Government of Kerala.

The admission process for undergraduate programmes is primarily conducted through the Centralized Allotment Process (CAP) of Mahatma Gandhi University. Candidates seeking admission must first register online through the CAP portal, where they can select their preferred courses and colleges. Based on the marks obtained in the qualifying examination and applicable reservation policies, allotments are made in different phases.

Once a candidate receives an allotment to the college, they are required to report to the institution within the stipulated time. At this stage, candidates must submit all necessary documents, including mark sheets, transfer certificate, conduct certificate, identity proof, and passport-size photographs. The college verifies the authenticity of the documents before confirming admission.

For programmes not covered under the centralized system or in the case of management quota seats, candidates may apply directly to the college by submitting the prescribed application form along with required documents. These applications are evaluated based on merit and eligibility criteria.

For postgraduate programmes such as MBA and MSW, candidates must submit applications either through the university or directly to the college, depending on the programme structure. Admission to the MBA programme typically involves entrance examination scores (such as KMAT, CMAT, or CAT), followed by further selection procedures like group discussion and personal interview, as per institutional norms.

After successful verification of documents and selection, candidates are required to pay the prescribed admission fee within the given deadline to confirm their seat. Failure to do so may result in cancellation of the allotment.

The college strictly follows reservation policies as per Government of Kerala guidelines, ensuring fair representation of all categories. The entire admission procedure is conducted in a systematic and time-bound manner to maintain efficiency and transparency.

In conclusion, the admission procedures of Jai Bharath Arts and Science College are designed to provide a smooth, merit-based, and equitable system that aligns with university regulations while ensuring accessibility for all eligible candidates.
